Researcher appointed by the European Union for the Study on the Regulation of Geographical Indications in the framework of the Cooperation Treaty between Mexico and the European Union.
He has taught the subject of Patents and Trademarks at the Intercontinental University for over 10 years, and currently he is a Professor in the Specialization of Intellectual Property at the Panamerican University and a Tutor for the Doctorate degree at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, He is a professor of the Intellectual Property specialization at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Professor of the Industrial Property Specialization at the Institute of Intellectual Property and Competition Law (IPIDEC).
Author of over 500 articles on matters related to patents, trademarks and copyrights, published in specialized magazines in Mexico and abroad. Participation as speaker in over 200 conferences and directed over 40 professional theses. Participation as a lecturer for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Author of 5 books, including “Legal Aspects of Trademarks in Mexico” (fourth edition), “Comments on the Industrial Property Law” and “The use and value of Intellectual Property”. Author appointed by
West Law Publishing as a writer on Mexican Intellectual Property issues.
